When you are working on a mold or die project, getting everyone on the same page typically means someone is re-exporting files, converting formats or walking over to another desk just to show a design change. Cimatron Viewer takes away that friction. It opens native Cimatron data directly and allows project managers, shop-floor staff and other stakeholders to view designs, drawings, assemblies and CNC processes without the need for a full CAD/CAM license.
Pelf Engineering’s Cimatron Viewer is a lightweight companion to Cimatron Mold, Die, Electrodes, and NC Programming, and is useful for any team needing more visibility into a project without adding additional software licenses.
Why it helps
We are all using the same data. Because Viewer reads native Cimatron files directly, there is no need to handle separate export formats, or worry about a reviewer viewing an outdated version of the design.
Reviews that are more than just a look at a model. Within the viewer it is possible to check lines of separation, undercuts, clearances, material properties and tonnage requirements, meaning that design problems are spotted by more people, earlier.
One tool offers coverage of mold, die and machining reviews. Cimatron Viewer is a single interface for mold design, die design, tool build and CNC process reviews rather than individual viewers for each discipline.
Down to the shop floor it is useful. You can view all CNC machining plans, tool changes, spindle or fixture setups before sending a job to the machine and generate G-code on the fly if required.

Review runners, gates, cooling and venting systems, parting lines, undercuts and clearances between components like ejector pins and baffles, as well as mold weight and tonnage calculations.
Die design review
Review material properties, thickness, tonnage and process planning with drawing, forming, trimming and piercing shown in different colors for quick interpretation.
Tool build review
zoom, pan, rotate and section assemblies; isolate individual plates or components; and step through GD&T and PMI data without opening the original design file.

Review machining time, tool changes, fixture setups for 2.5 to 5-axis and 3+2 operations and output G-code for shop floor use.
